• Someone asked us recently, "Is there any limitation to the body's ability to heal?" And we said, "None other than the belief that you hold." And he said, "Then why aren't people growing new limbs?" And we said, "Because no one believes that they can." --- Abraham Excerpted from the workshop in San Rafael, CA on Saturday, February 27th, 1999 #329
  • Milk every moment for all the pleasure you can get from it. When you say, "It is my dominant intent to look for things that feel good today. No matter where I'm going, no matter what I'm doing, no matter who I'm doing it with, it is my dominant intent to look for what I'm wanting to see, to look for things that feel good," and the more you develop the habit of that kind of vibration -- the more the Universe understands that that's who you are! And so, the more you have access only to those kinds of things! --- Abraham Excerpted from the workshop in Albuquerque, NM on Sunday, May 9th, 1999 #389
  • The emotion you feel is always about the vibrational variance between where you want to be and where you are. If you're out of balance, there are only two ways to bring yourself into alignment: Either raise your expectation to match your desire—or lower your desire to match your expectation. --- Abraham Excerpted from the workshop in San Francisco, CA on Saturday, July 24th, 2004 #398
  • Within the seed of your desire is everything necessary for it to blossom to fulfillment. And Law of Attraction is the engine that does the work. Your work is just to give it a fertile growing place in order to expand. --- Abraham Excerpted from the workshop in Albuquerque, NM on Sunday, May 9th, 1999 #427
  • Start telling a better-feeling story about the things that are important to you. Do not write your story like a factual documentary, weighing all the pros and cons of your experience, but instead tell the uplifting, fanciful, magical story of the wonder of your own life and watch what happens. It will feel like magic as your life begins to transform right before yours eyes, but it is not by magic. It is by the power of the Laws of the Universe and your deliberate alignment with those Laws. --- Abraham Excerpted from the book "Money and the Law of Attraction: Learning to Attract Health, Wealth and Happiness" #428
  • Feel appreciation for those who provide examples of Well-being. How would you know that prosperity was possible if there wasn't some evidence of prosperity around you? It's all part of this contrast that helps you to sharpen your desire. --- Abraham Excerpted from the workshop in Orlando, FL on Sunday, January 10th, 1999 #431
  • There are no happier people on this planet than those who decide that they want something, define what they want, get hold of the feeling of it even before it's manifestation, and then joyously watch the unfolding, as piece by piece, by piece it begins to unfold. That's the feeling of your hands in the clay. --- Abraham Excerpted from the workshop in San Francisco, CA on Saturday, August 18th, 2001 #434
  • The Universe is not punishing you or blessing you. The Universe is responding to the vibrational attitude that you are emitting. The more joyful you are, the more Well-being flows to you -- and you get to choose the details of how it flows --- Abraham Excerpted from the workshop in Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, February 24th, 2001 #481

Burdock, also known as Bardane, Clotburr, Beggars Buttons and Gypsy Rhubarb, is a carrot-like root from the plant Arctium lappa. In Japan Burdock Root (Gobo) is eaten as vegetable. Burdock Root contains inulin, a natural dietary fiber, and has also been used traditionally to provide nutritional support for normal, healthy digestion. Burdock Root is an important traditional cleansing herb, providing nourishing support for the natural functioning of a healthy circulatory system. Burdock Root is rich in B vitamins and E. It also contains manganese, copper, iron, zinc and sulfur.

APPEARANCE
Burdock is native to Europe and Northern Asia and is now widespread throughout the United States as well, where it grows wild. A member of the daisy family, burdock is a stout common weed with burrs that stick to clothing or animal fur. The plant grows to a height of approximately three to four feet. It has purple flowers that bloom between the months of June and October. Burdock has wavy, heart-shaped leaves that are green on the top and whitish on the bottom. The deep roots are brownish-green, or nearly black on the outside.

HISTORY
Historically, Burdock Root was used by traditional Japanese and Chinese practitioners to provide nutritional support for the natural functioning of a healthy circulatory system. This valuable and versatile herb was also used as nutritional support for a healthy digestive system. In India and Russia it was used as nutritional support for the immune system. And in China, Burdock Root was widely thought to be an aphrodisiac.

The genus name Arctium is from the Greek, arktos, meaning “bear,” a reference to the plant’s shaggy burrs. The word “Burdock” itself may be derived from the French word beurre (butter) since French farm women of prior centuries used to wrap their butter in the large cool leaves of the Burdock plant to keep it from melting on the way to market.

The product called Velcro was developed by George de Mestral of Switzerland after observing the burdock seed's hundreds of tiny hooks through his magnifying glass.

This product is produced by Self Health Resource Center who manufacture and monitor the purity of their products according to Dr. Hulda Clark's protocols.
